Nottingham Express Transit tram 215 will be out in service tomorrow having been "refreshed", this seems to involve a refurbished interior and a new light grey based livery.

Pictures are available on the NET facebook page.

Looks pretty nice and modern overall, but it doesn't look to good around the front where the lights are imo

Agreed the panel below the windows and two lighting units look silly and make the tram look significantly older.

Doesn't strike me as particularly similar to the new Citadis trams either.

Well that's probably not the final livery anyway

God I love the NET trams. So much longer and sleeker than the stumpy bananas we've got up here in Manchester!!

There isn't much in it for overall length. NET trams have shorter segments with fixed wheels (to accommodate the low floor) and Metrolink is longer sections with bogies.

For Long trams try a Flexity XXL

Why does the cynic in me feel that they probably ordered the silver panels as a complete set when new, same with the green panels for the bottom half, and just swapped them over this time?

Seriously! I didn't think Matalan sold tram interior furnishings either!

I though they sold everything?

Seriously though, I'm not a fan of liveries based on allover silver. The proposal for the Citadis trams looks far nicer.
