Nene Valley to re-open Overton buffet

"The Nene Valley Railway (NVR) has announced it is to re-open its refreshment kiosk at Overton station this coming weekend – Saturday and Sunday May 23/24. The intermediate station, which is located between Peterborough and Wansford, serves the popular Ferry Meadows country park. Trains services on the line remain suspended. "

I imagine Ferry Meadows is quite busy and NVR think it will be worth their while.

...Agreed '30907' – Ferry Meadows' refreshment facilities were open last w/e within the boundaries of the law. The NVR needs every penny it can get, so we hope to be doing our bit & stretching our legs this w/e. In normal circumstances, we often enjoy a brew & a cake from Overton station.
