At one point up to Newark it was running 53 minutes late, so it looks like a decision was made to send it straight on the ECML to Doncaster rarther than the booked route via Gainsborough, meaning it arrived at York just 2 minutes late

This time it was a Steam Dreams charter, but again called 'The Christmas White Rose'
Lighting was direct into the sun, not much choice at Midday on a North-South station, i have converted a few of the photos to Black & White which actually look a bit better than the colour version.

I had bought tickets the day before to go to Doncaster hoping to video the special double headed with 60163 Tornado & 5043 Earl of Mount Edgcumbe, sadly due to no available footplate crews available Tornado was pulled from the return trip!!

Earlier in the day a fatality occured at Stevenage and no electric trains were running North from Kings Cross.
After over 3 hours 91109 Sir Bobby Robson arrived with the first Electric service to Leeds, luckily for me just at the right time for my return home to Huddersfield via Leeds

Now about a hour late 60103 had still not departed, when LNER staff came and told us that a rought shunt had occured and that it needed inspection by Network Rail, true or false? i dont know, time will tell i imagine.
I decided to go to the overbridge to the NRM for some photos

After this i decided to get the train back home as at the time no-one had a idea what was going to happen
I found out on the treain home that it left 2 1/4 hours late with the 67 on the rear to Newcastle, where 60103 came off and the return was diesel hauled throughout.
