I have now started to add collections of the various Prototype early Diesel & Electrics

This collection features English Electric GT3

Looking more like a steam locomotive with its 4-6-0 wheel arrangement resembling a BR standard class 5 steam locomotive chassis and was fitted with an EM27L gas turbine of 2700hp

originally designed by Bulleid but not built till 2 years into nationalisation, again with a English Electric engine
