Need help with route.

I plan on riding from Norwich to Berney Arms train station but is the route between Reedham and Berney Arms sutible? Or will I have to divert via the A47? I do not know much about this route but I wish to visit Berney Arms because I do know it is situated within beautiful marshes and the iconic windmill landmark, and I thought it would be a nice place to ride through, if possible. Thankyou!

Which way do you plan to cycle between Reedham and BA? The OS map shows the footpath along the waterside as being just that, a footpath and therefore not allowed for bikes, but there are two bridle paths (available to cyclists), one from Wickhampton and one from Halvergate.
What they're like to cycle, I've no idea, but the Wickhampton one appears to be a track for about half the distance. Depends a bit on your bike and your preferences (and the weather) I suppose.

Thank you for replying! I believe Wickhampton as is the closet route avoiding the a47. And can you walk along the river Yare from reedham? Like I say I don't know much about the area but I do wish to go there for the afternoon sometime!

According to the OS, the Wherryman's Way FP runs along the river bank from Reedham and continues along Breydon Water into Yarmouth.

I only walked from Gt Yarmouth to Berney Arms and then caught the train from there, but the walking path is certainly marked along the river bank from Reedham.
