To all siggies,

Today I realised when waving to a driver as he passed my box, that, like most drivers and siggies, I just hold my hand up in recognition; and it looks very similar to a nazi salute, not the kind where they used to point it right up in the air, the more casual salute you see on films where they hold their hand up palm facing the other. Next time your waving to a driver think about it hahahah

Many time on zee Nazional Express I would wave to my fellow comrades passing me on zee M6.

I would goose step too, but my 550 would have probably hit zee central reservation.

Zat is all. Schnell!

haha like it :)
I'm conscious of it now and try not to, the more I think about it the more it looks like a nazi salute to me

You definitely mean the gesture like a fixed wave, palm underside? I would hardly consider it to look or be interpreted like the Nazi salute...

I have never seen anything like a nazi salute from people who put there hands up to acknowledge somebody else.

You should tell Christian Wolmar. He's been on the lookout for Nazi salutes on trains, then writes articles in the Daily Mail about them.

I think you are looking for something that isn't there.

You think it looks bad it Britain, try driving around Germany and doing the same thing. In Britain I'm just saying thank you...

This thread is silly, more than a bit pointless, and as such is now also locked :)
