National Railway Museum

Right guys, I am going to be going to York this Saturday and after I have got both of the steam railtours that will arrive there, I am heading straight to the museum because I am going to get some videos of the locos in there.

Question is this: Bittern is going to be there because she is going to take over The Tynsider on the way down to Kings Cross and Tornado is going to be there getting her paint job. Where are they likely to be?

tornado should be in workship id imagine which has a viewing gallery.....

bittern in the loco prepare bit which you can partly see from flying scotsman exhbition in warehouse...

It's my understanding that Bittern will be leaving the NRM today.

As for Tornado, it's currently in the prep-bay, which isn't accessable to the public. However, it will be moved into the paint shop at some point, although I'm not sure when.
