National Rail wrong?

I'm going to get the 0425 GLC - EUS, and according to National Rails website the station opens at 5am! :? I'm assuming this is wrong, and I couldnt find it mentioned on Network Fails website and they run the station!

You sure it don't mean the ticket office opens at 5am? The station prob stays open, probably while the ticket office is closed, there's more than likely a side gate somewhere to get on the platforms.

The National Rail website will only as reliable as the information supplied to it as it's run for and paid for by the TOCs

In another thread I think user rail-britain said that the station opens at 0400 and boarding commences about 0415. He repeated my complaint about the difficulty in reaching that train by public transport... you'll obviously need one of the sparse night buses, car or taxi.

It's like that at Sheffield - the overnight TPE for Manchester Airport leaves when the station is closed - so they open the doors temporarily for passengers wanting that train only (not open to the general public)

Exeter St Davids is open and staffed 24hrs a day (but no ticket selling or anything like that)

I think it might be some errors on the website - This afternoon i found a train that leaves London Euston at 1343, goes through Birmingham New St and eventually ends up in Glasgow just after 7pm, to then travel all the way to London Heathrow, Non stop, arriving a little after 6am. The service is apparently operated by Heathrow Connect.

Because it's left Crewe now... There is another leaving Crewe at 1608 at http://realtime.nationalrail.co.uk/ldb/train.aspx?C=CRE&T=CREWE+++&J=750386&Y=B&R=0&A=0

This one is more amazing because it gets from Glasgow to Paddington in -16 minutes! Hurry link only working for the next 21 odd minutes .
