I'm trying to download the latest National Rail Timetable (aka All Lines) as separate pdfs to an iPad. Anyone know how to do this please?
I already have downloads to a desktop and an android phone but a tablet seems the optimum format.

I use an application called "GoodReader" on my iPad. I use Dropbox on my computers; I download the files I want to share into a specific folder in Dropbox and set up the iPad application to connect to Dropbox and "synchronise" the folder. This method works well for me.

Thanks for this. If I've got this right I have to use say Windows to get the necessary files into Dropbox in the first place?
I'll give that a try.

Alternatively, have you got iCloud Drive set up? That can be used to make files available to an Apple iOS device by loading them into iCloud via web access from your PC, or AIUI you can also download iCloud Drive for your PC?.
