National Rail Oyster Travel & Zone Capping

Quick question, since I've never done this before but it will come in useful for the future.

Does the Oyster daily capping for tube journeys also include journeys taken on National Rail such as FCC for example when used within the same zones.

For example if I have hit the Zone 1-4 cap, and I travel on FCC within Zone 1-4, will I be charged additionally or will I not be charged as I've hit the cap?

I may never have to do it, but if there are engineering works for example at the weekend, it could be an alternative to bus.

The caps apply to all rail services (tube, dlr, national rail) within the zones. The only exceptions are HS1 between St Pancras and Stratford Intl and Heathrow to Hayes and Harlington.
