Hi Sheff, I've been trying to get on for a couple of days now. I hope it's not gone bellyup!I msgd mod Ralph W. He told me mod Pete has been trying to get hold of the owner, but without success so far …..
Domain Status Registered And No Website
PING national-preservation.com gets a response, so DNS is finding the URL and it is responding, but not delivering any web pages.Whois lookup gives
Something seems to have gone wrong with the nameservers
Or else the server is offline
I can confirm it’s a server issue, when it was up briefly I was able to log in and look at the error logs for the server.
Unfortunately, it’s likely to be off over the weekend as the forum owner isn’t around and I don’t have a direct contact for the hosting company to speed things up. Hopefully on Monday should be back to normal, apologies there isn’t much else I can do.
Only in your most fevered dreams BryanMany thanks for the update.
Oh well, we can't expect every website to work prefectly 100% of the time. I've not been able to login in since last year.
And, now that I've joined RailUKforums I may find that 1960s BR livery and numbering for all relevant locos is top of everyones like list. LOL!
Bryan
Well I am now, having found this one whilst searching for news of the demise of the other one!How many of are registered on both sites?
Must be a fair few.
Thanks should be made towards Rail UK for not banning any comments.
Glad to see its restoration.NatIonal Preservation forum looks to be back up and working since this afternoon
It just takes a very long time to upload.Seems totally dead today?
What's causing the forum to be so unreliable ? As I've said before, it doesn't help that it's now run by a third party, as a commercial venture. Not accessible again today. If it carries on like this it will lose it's relevance as people won't bother to visit.
