Been racking my brains about this but can’t work out where on the SWR network this was filmed.

(Well the Waterloo bit is fairly obvious but someone must recognise the other location!)

The ad:

Their blurb, if you’re interested:

Looks like Windsor and Eton Riverside.

On a slightly un related note, did the train announcement when she heading back to Waterloo say Pokesdown for Boscombe?!

I bet no one* here noticed the train's metamorphosis from 455 to 458.
Asterisk for?

I didn’t actually I was too busy trying to figure out why he didn’t get off as it is a terminating stop. I think I am just over thinking this whole thing.

I was a tad surprised at the shot of her running down the platform alongside the moving train - not something I would expect a TOC to be happy with, to be honest.

It's not changed much since Frank Spencer was swinging about on a train door there !

Complete trivia - has anyone noticed the current National Lottery advert which revolves around people using SWR class 455s? I ask because the middle shot of a train in the landscape at dusk appears to be at Ranmore, on the North Downs line near Dorking, and I'm 99% sure they have CGIed in a well-lit, and long, passenger train running towards the camera instead of a 165. It just seems a lot of trouble to go to for a second or so! Here's my shot from a few years back at the same location in full light. https://flic.kr/p/2n1QP4s Edit - I had posted this as a new thread without knowing one already existed, hence the introduction. Surprised no-one had mentioned the Ranmore shot already - come on people; details!;)
