Hi!
. . . Whenever I make a journey on a NXWM bus I present a Halifax Contactless Bank Card, and I get a red screen on the Driver's Machine with a white cross and a message "Please present one card only!" sometimes it will immediately turn green with a white tick with "Contactless Accepted!", other times I have to take the card away, present it again and on the second presentation I usually get the green screen and "Contactless Accepted!" tick!
. . .Can anyone suggest why this occurs, and would it show up a travel irregularity if a Revenue Inspector boarded the bus?
. . .NXWM does not issue tickets for contactless fares (me thinks they should reprogram their ticket machines so they do!), but the other bus operator I use in my area, Diamond, will issue a paper ticket irrespective of the payment method used!
