There has been quite a few changes on London-South West services, which stem from the 502 Barnstaple etc-London services, with the early morning Biddeford service now not leaving till 6am and running later throughout, then a new 10.30am London-Westward Ho. And now there is no 18.30pm London-Bideford, which means the 501 Totnes etc services have extra stops and subsequent longer journeys, The early morning Plymouth 501 now leaves 03.00, Exeter 04.05 with an extra Taunton 04.55am stop added, taking 25 mins longer, the 19.00pm London-Totnes now has Bridgwater 22.15pm and Taunton 22.45pm stops added, now arriving Exeter 23.35 taking an extra 20 mins.
From recent journey on 501 19.00pm London-Exeter, the timings are pretty much impossible to keep. Especially if slightly slower Cataeno are used, was 7 mins late on an Elite, Don’t know what’s bought this all about, wether Edwards coaches are not doing 502 anymore or changed there workings? The new 10.30am London-Westward Ho doesnt turn round and return to London Like previous summers, and the Westward Ho in the morning doesnt have a return working either, so dont know who operates that one, does anyone know why National express have changed so much in south West?
