If anyone is willing to answer I would be interested to find out, do you think that National Express should bring back the 318 service(1710 departure from Bristol) to Birmingham on a Friday afternoon?

Since it was reduced to sunday only a couple of years ago my opinion has always been that this service needs to be reinstated on Fridays. I often notice from the online journey planner that other services between Bristol and Birmingham become sold out on Friday afternoons- particularly on the busy weekends and feel that the additional 1710 departure would have helped to have provided some much needed capacity.

Does anyone have any idea, has it always been the case that the Friday afternoon departures between Bristol and Birmingham have been highly loaded or would the withdrawal of the additional journey on a Friday have made this worse?

Alternatively, the journey was merely diluting demand on the others. Probably thinking it's lower risk/more flexible to remove it but to put dupes on the remaining journeys if required

Thanks for your response.

Personally I've heard of very few dupes being used on the South West-Birmingham route this last year, even on weekends where on previous years dupes were being operated
