national express qualified driver vacancies ??

Hi all i just wondered if anybody knew if nxea were taking on qualified drivers at the moment?I have been qualified for 5 years now and am currently working at southern at london victoria but have relocated to harwich.I sent an application form off today but what are my chances as would really like colchester,clacton or norwich depot.I currently drive class 455,456 and 377 units.many thanks.Andy

You've certainly chosen the three most popular depots in the company, all with long waiting lists but I may be wrong, good luck though!

Rob is not wrong. I can't ever recall seeing a vacancy coming up at any of these locations, nor Ipswich for that matter. In fact, we have drivers with moves in for Ipswich who have been waiting for some not inconsiderable amount of time.

Best of luck, though. You never know what might come up, but you're probably more likely to get offered Ilford, Gidea Park or Southend Vic.

You could also try east midlands trains they also have a train crew depot up at norwich,
