Hi folks,
I have an assessment day coming up for National Express as a customer service assistant and it mentions the following:
  • Multi-skills test
  • Group Exercise
  • Interview
What does the multi-skills test and group exercise involve? Examples would be great! How is the interview?
If anyone has been through the process please share your thoughts, it would be a great help for me to prepare for the day! Thank you

I have no experience of the Natex process however in general:
The group exercise suggests there will be other people there for interview and you'll have some task that involves several of you. It's likely that it'll be designed to see either how you communicate with others or how you work as part of a team (i.e. do you tend to take control, follow others, disrupt others, ignore others etc).
Multi-skills could be something like dealing with a phone call whilst using a computer and taking notes (more multi tasking) or something more mundane such as a test of basic spelling, number work etc.

The usual advice would be to be yourself and don't lie (too much!). They'll be looking for somebody who can cope with the range of issues that passengers get (or cause themselves) without pointing out that, most of the time, they've caused the issue themselves!
