National Express Airport: any tips, discount codes, etc?

Hello all. My beautiful other half and I are escaping to warmer climes later this year, and will probably be catching a bus from Cambridge to Heathrow.

I recall from my student days that National Express never really offered 'Funfares' on their Airport routes, but are there perhaps any tips, tricks or discount codes I might be able to use to cut the cost down a bit?

To start with, you can get 5% back in cash from the purchase of your tickets- I know they generally fleece you on airport destinations so 5% would probably be pretty decent.

Aha, thanks! I've not used Topcashback before, but I am a member of Quidco. First time I searched for National Express, it didn't come up, but checking again it seems they also have a 5% cashback offer (which would save me the fees joining Topcashback).

Two adult singles are still coming out at £53 for the 2h45m journey though (£50.35 after cashback). Pretty steep when you consider how many £1 bus fares are available on intercity routes

Ah right! Well, Topcashback is totally free to use so if you haven't already had your £5.00 fee taken from Quidco it might be worth using Topcashback instead.
