Eh Gareth I’ve been reading this thread from the start. I even replied to that post.

To be fair that article was based on supposition rather than fact. And I’ll stand by that comment.

Note the use of the words “could”, and “probably” - not exactly certain!!

Well an article in Railnews see post # 132
That article (with comments from somebody who had a title that made me think he knew what he was talking about) and the fact that the maps published by DfT showed that they weren't going to bother clearing the Pembroke Dock line for IEP. Pepole (myself included) put two and two together and came up with the wrong answer.

Still whatever the real situation DfT were not going run IEP down the Pembroke Dock branch if they had been left to their own devices. It's one of those small wins that sometimes occur due to local political lobbying.
