Hello again all. We have our holidays booked for Chinon (France), where we will be joined for a few days by a friend from Canada, who will be flying into Nantes.
Nantes-Chinon by train is relatively straightforward: Nantes/St-Pierre-des-Corps/Tours/Chinon, but it did occur to my that if there were a way of getting from (say) Saumur to Chinon without going via Tours it would considerably shorten the overall journey time.
I realise this is not strictly a railway question, but does anyone know if there is any sort of regular Saumur-Chinon bus service?
