Today’s exhilarating adventure takes you to the Grand National, the legendary steeplechase and one of the greatest events in the sporting calendar. Dressed to impress, board British Pullman at London Victoria Station ready for your journey north to Aintree Racecourse, near Liverpool. Settle into your comfortable armchair and note the exquisite craftsmanship of your authentic 1920s carriage. Each carriage is different and boasts a fascinating history as well as lavish individual décor. Sip a sparkling Bellini cocktail and savour a delicious brunch as the train makes its way towards Liverpool. Here, disembark from the train and board a private coach to Aintree. You alight in a retail park adjacent to the racecourse, a 12-minute walk from the entrance. You will have been handed your Reserved Seat badge and entry ticket on the journey. Present your ticket to the gate staff and wait to pass through the security checks. Once inside, proceed to your seat in a prestigious stand ready to enjoy the nail-biting action as world-class jockeys and their horses tackle 30 challenging fences. We ask that you return to the coach in the retail park by 18:40, ready for departure at 18:45. Please note, this is after the last race, however, should you choose to watch the last race please be sure to allow enough time to return to the coach. Your coach takes you back to Liverpool South Parkway Station, where you rejoin the gleaming carriages of our train for the journey home. Everyone’s a winner as you celebrate the day with a glass of chilled champagne, followed by a sumptuous five-course dinner with wine. Coffee is served before your arrival back at London Victoria.
