There is a plain blue Driving Trailer at Eastern Rail Services, Great Yarmouth - observed there 16th June 2025: It looks slightly like at 4TC Driving Trailer, but it most certainly is NOT a 4TC. There is no drivers vestibule between the cab and the first passenger compartment, and half of the body side is completely plated with no windows. There are only two doors on the side visible, an inward opening door into the first passenger bay and a service door at the far (rear) end of the carriage. It is not obvious if the plated area has filled in original windows of it it has always been like that. I suspect the vehicle might be a converted BG or a Buffet car, with a cab fitted. The vehicle has various underfleet equipment and what looks very much like a fuel tank. It is completely plain blue and un-numbered, does anyone have any idea what this vehicle really is ?

Not something from one of NR’s “Yellow Trains”, is it? I understand there are/were various former MK1 EMU vehicles in the mix, I believe including at least one former driving car?
