Before I fully scrolled down, I thought the OP aircraft was the Short Sperrin, a proposed backup design for the 3 main V-bomber designs (Vulcan, Victor & Valiant).

Thats a very interesting pic.
Puts me in mind of the Vulcan (XA903) that carried a Olympus 593 engine during the development of Concorde:
