My trip to see Class 385 units

Hi all,

Off for a jolly to Glasgow today (currently sat on 1s37 at Wigan) does anyone know if the 385 units are working yet and when/where I can spot them in Glasgow?

They are not in service, no.

I don't know if they're on test at the moment.

As discussed in the other thread, they are all stopped at the moment because of issues with the windscreens - one is being fitted with new ones and should be going to scotland this week but you won't be seeing them unless you are in a depot.

They aren't all stopped. Some are still out on test, I doubt you'll see one in Glasgow though. More likely to be Edinburgh.
