just finally got myself out of bed after my day out to london yesterday.
i started from Bridgend at 20:30 with a class 175 to Cardiff central, after i arriving at cardiff central i had a 1 hpur wait so i decided to to pay a visit to the prince of wales pub for a drink.
i then travelled on the 22:00 cardiff - taunton service worked by a class 150, the train was sat in Bristol TM for 50 minutes between 23:00 and didnt depart til 23:50 as there was engineering work on the line to Weston-Super-Mare. finally got to Taunton at 01:10.
i then travelled on the 02:13 service to London padidngton, hauled by class 57 no. 57605.
i got to the train when it arrived in london at 05:20, 20 minutes earlier than its booked arrival time at 05:40.
i then spent the day traveling around most of the london underground and DLR network.
I had lunch at Paddington before meeting my classmate andrew from University off the 14:30 arrival from Swansea.
i then went to covant garden and went to the transport museum and spent a good few hours there before me & andrew decided to do a little bash around the circle ine, which went ok until i decided to pass out and didnt wake up for 20 minutes (Sleep must have finally caught up with me).
got back to Paddington for 19:30 before we caught the 20:15 London paddington - Swansea train home.
i got off at Bridgend at 22:55 before i waited for the 23:45 Carmarthen train which i travelled on a far as pyle where i walked back to my house finally arriving home at 00:15 this morning.
so overall i had an enjoyable day out and i will have photos uploaded on my fotopic wepage and my facebook account.
