Hiya Folks.
I thought id share what I have in my layout with you all,

Well, its not huge, and its not small. The layout itself has no loops, but a series of branch lines, heading into different areas.

All the traffic currently is passanger trains, despite myself having a fair few freight trucks ect.

Here is a map of the layout.
untitled.png

It is made up of many areas.
These are:-
1. Central Station
The Central station is the main station on my layout. This is the station where all my trains arrive & depart. There is one through line and 4terminating lines. The station has 5platforms, one towards Tinytown, one towards Hogsmede & Dinsdale and three towards Ely, Elton, Hogsmede & Dinsdale. There is also a layover bay line so that the trains can park to free up a plaform.

2. City Centre
The city centre is the main area of the layout that is full of shops & people. It is a mainly padestrianised street, with a single track road running through the centre. It also has a busy bus station, which has 6 bays. The city centre part of my layout is still "Under Construction" and isn't totaly complete.

3. Cowes
Cowes is a small village adjacent to Ely. It has a few shops, a car garage, and a pub. It once had a railway station, but this is now called Ely Town (A future extension is planned, which will become Ely Pier - More info under the Ely heading)

4. Depot
The depot did house all my trains ect, and trucks, but as i had no use for these millions of trucks, they were taken off the rails, and the depot was shut down, and dismantled. The depot will however be rebuilt somewhere else, which has yet to be decided!

One of the roads still exists, with all other lines now taken up. This single track line extends to the city centre, and houses a few trucks ect. This will become home to my 47 (If i get one)!

5. Dinsdale
Dinsdale is a small village, in the middle of no where. This village has various houses, a post office, and a bus depot. Dinsdale has no station, as it was closed when the now Hogsmede station was opened. Remains of the station can still be seen today, if you look closley!

6. Elton
Elton village is nearly finished as all i need to do is a few bits of grass and some fencing.

The village consists of 4 houses, and a chemist. A small road runs through the village with a turn-around point at the end. Elton also has a station that is on the Ely valley line whih extends to Ely Town station.

7. Ely
Ely isnt realy a town, as Ely has nothing but a train station. When the new board goes up then Ely will become a proper seaside town.

The railway will also be extended to the "New Extension" and this will become the seaside resort of my layout. There will *hopefuly* be a ferry port, Promenade, houses, and various other attractions.

8. Hogsmede
Hogsmede (Formerley Hogsmede Junction) was originaly a station in the middle of no where, that connected with trains to the now closed Dinsdale station. When Hogsmede was built, it was decided that Dinsdale branch would be closed, and that Dinsdale would gain a single patform station. This was later closed, as not many trains stopped there, and the bus services were more convinient.

9. Tinytown
This is my first village that was built. The village has a one way system running through it, and also has a single track, single platform railway station. This is used by the Bubblecar shuttle, which operates from the village to Central station. Tinytown also has a "buisness district" which is opposite the railway station.

10.Extensions!
I have 3 extensions planned. These are to an Airport, and too Ely Pier. The 3rd extension isnt exacly an extension, but a make over. The Dinsdale/Hogsmede area will be upgraded, and will gain more houses, people, and will be neater than its current state.

My fleet of trains!
Class 158 - 158809 RR Express livery
Class 170 - 170 514 CT Green liveried "Weatherd"
Class 142 - 142 065 - Northern spirit livery
Class 156 - Northern Rail - 156425 - Hornby
Class 158 - Transpennien Express 1587??
Steam Train - Hogwarts castle (Hogwarts Express pack)
Class 121 "Bubblecar" - Network Southeast

I also have a few "dead" locos, which i plan to bring back to life!
They are:-
A blue 37,
a GNER HST set,
A Virgin 91

I do have a site containing information and pictures of my railway set in October, and this site isn't up to date. the URL is
http://www.freewebs.com/elliottwaters92/index.htm

I have also made a few videos from my loft, however these arn't as brilliant quality as the ones 158man has created!
Bubblecar - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=77ONYPIRm2o
Hogwarts Castle - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Be2MtFeDrs&mode=user&search=
CT class 170 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SqxXzO-xUt4&mode=user&search=
TPE 158 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3CnPEwopNAw&mode=user&search=
TPE 158 & CT 170 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cTnF0SKJTaE&mode=user&search=

The videos are absolutley rubbish, and TBH i actualy dont know why I have uploaded them!

Any comments on my layout would be appreciated,
Thanks
Elliott
