Also, don't forget that some of the Crossrail services will replace existing FGW services between, Reading and London Paddington so there will not be so many Class 165/166 trains to replace, which would mean that that the number of Class 365 needed to replace the 165/166 would be only about 25 - 30 units if you believe that myth.

If on the other hand you believe the myth that the Class 387/1's are moving to the GWML once electrification is complete, then there is the correct number of unit required with the 65 Crossrail class 345 units that are going to be built.

I am one of those people that until there is written evidence that state that either Class 387's or Class 365's will replace class 165/166's on the GWML that is from Daft then, I am afraid it is a myth.

So most of this forum is a myth to you then? Wonder why you bother here in that case. If your awaiting written confirmation from Daft, I'm afraid you'll be disappointed as they don't actually exist. (Pendantic maybe but as accurate as your insulting insiders on here and other locations).

The only person that seems to be insulted is you.

Just like anyone that writes within this forum I am entitled to my opinion for one and for two there is not really any difference between saying something is a rumour or that something is a myth to be honest.

To answer why I bother being within this forum, the answer to that is there is plenty of things within this forum that area based on truths, for me though I do not see the GWML getting any of the 365's, they may possible get the 387's working alongside 319's which will also be working alongside the 345's. But we will see what happens.
