My Final Activity For Stranraer to Ayr

I have decided to give Stranraer to Ayr a wee rest as I have produced a "Baker's Dozen" of activities for it this year plus an activity pack which the route author allowed me to include the route with.

So for 2007 I have done my Final activity & i hope my efforts this year have went some way to putting the ageing route back on the map

A PETETHETIM ORIGINAL ACTIVITY

Set in a frosty wet morning in Jan 1981 you are driving a Railfreight Mixed Goods from Newtown on Ayr to Stranraer Yard driving conditions are difficult so don’t spare the sand especially on the steep inclines, you may encounter slight waiting times at the junction as you leave Ayr & the double track section waiting on the 6:55 ex Stranraer to Glasgow but this will be 2 or 3 Mins. Maximum & another slight wait will be experienced at Barrhill (try & plan to arrive at there between 09:14 – 09:20) & your wait again should be again just 2-3Mins. the activity will end when you enter Stranraer Yard
