Are there any TOC retailers or other retailers other than the forum site that allows a journey with multiple via points? I know NRE used to allow this but doesn't any longer.

Most sites I've seen will only allow one via, i suppose that is better than Uber which allow a grand total of no via points.

I also suppose a sufficiently well placed via point should be able to steer the train where you want it however I often travel on routes where both the local ends might need some additional steering - obviously not possible with only one via.

No TOC sites do; the only one that did was NRE.

I've not checked lately, but if they got rid of it as you say, then that just leaves Trainsplit and the various brands of Trainsplit, including ours.

Hopefully our site can offer what you need? :)

I can't imagine Trainline wanting to allow it; they have had (and continue to have) enough bugs as it is, with one just via point!

I think it disappeared with the NRE rejig of the website, for a while you could force the old version but I don't think it even can be forced now.

I think Worldline Mixingdeck sites - if you force the old UI - sort of have this functionality, as you can first search for "timetables only" entering a via point, and then further filter results by adding calling points you want the itineraries to contain. You can do this multiple times consecutively to add multiple calling points. It's rather glitchy though.

Did NRE’s version of multiple via points ever work properly? I got the impression it only chose one per itinerary given, rather than take all into consideration at the same time.

WebTiS allowed two to be used at the same time with a slight workaround, not sure if that’s still a thing.
