If someone was to apply for a role at a higher grade whilst having been provisionally offered another role at a lower grade, do you think that would be frowned upon by the TOC recruitment staff and viewed as being a nuisance or 'swinging the lead'? Would you be better accepting the first position and keeping your head down for a few months before further applications?
Another question - if you're currently employed in a role by a TOC, succeed in becoming a trainee driver but then fail in training along the way, could you revert to your previous role or at least be found another one? Or would you simply be left without a job?
