Has anybody made a recent visit to this soon-to-close narrow-gauge railway? Is anybody planning a visit? I am going to try. The only thing which might thwart me is getting time off work. If I should fail it won`t be through lack of trying. Also,does anybody know how reliable running of the railway is? Earlier in the season it was shown as running,then suspended & now running again. It`s a long trip from York to find the railway isn`t running.

By the strangest coincidence, I am waiting for the ferry to the Isle of Mull right now.
I'm not sure whether I'll be going to the Mull railway, but I heard it was closing, so it might be worth a visit.
