The SchoenerTagTicket at €28.50 is supposed to include all buses and trains in North Rhine-Westphalia. Does anyone know if it includes the Muenster airport bus (from Muenster Hbf)?

Thanks

DB website says not, but it occasionally does odd things with non DB tickets..

I can't access the full nrw website, so relying on a search engine, a travel site called exbir.de says it is, likewise on the Osnabrück bus, which is consistent with normal NRW practice.

At worst you'd have to pay a couple of euros for the first part of the bus.

Me thinks it depends on the actual bus: there are (were?) both direct expresses and the normal linebus, also doing other stops-certainly valid on the latter. But this may have changed since I was last there.

Thanks for your answers. I'd like to know for sure especially as arriving at the airport I might want to buy the 28,50 ticket on the bus. Is there a German equivalent of railuk?!

Drehscheibe online, use Allgemeines Forum. If you post in English you will get a comprehensible reply.

Easier would be to buy the ticket online from DB, self - print plus ID just like a normal DB ticket.

I'm probably too late for your trip, but I have done that transfer several times and the buses (both slow & 'fast') are just part of the local transport system with prices fixed by the number of zones they transit. That means that the STT should be valid. Be aware that the 'fast' bus takes an amazingly circuitous route, crossing the Dortmund-Ems canal more times than you would think possible. It's still faster than the other route though!

I wouldn't know if you can buy a STT from the driver. The online route via the DB website is probably the best bet.
