Hey, I did my interview on Friday, got the email on Monday morning, then a phone call with a start date Monday afternoon. Everything started rolling really quickly since Friday.

Did you get a call from a 0116 number? As I had a missed call from that number Monday afternoon.

Thanks

Holy... Man, you must have impressed them. That was very fast.

I've done my DMI on 24/09, received the email that I passed at 16/10, but no phone call yet...

Probably I've passed with a very low score. But at least I did. That's what matters to me.

PS: They offered you different start dates or just 07/01?

They asked if I'd be able to start on the 7th Jan, I didn't enquire about other dates to be honest. Though I'm sire there are later starting dates

Seen a few posts on here mentioning ‘talent pool’, is this that has been mentioned in interviews? What’s it about? Just wondering how it all works! I have my MMI in a couple of weeks so seems people are very different stages still.
How long was gap between MMI and DMI? Just wondering if I’ll be squeezed in before Xmas if I’m successful.

No, It was mentioned on the email after the interview, if you were successful.

About the stages, yes, there is people on all stages, some people are still waiting for their 1st stage assessment date if I'm not wrong.

The gap between your MMI and DMI depends sole on their availability. And as far as I know, it's is very limited at the moment. Mine was 2 weeks, but it was more than a month ago.

About the start dates, the earliest one that was mentioned here is 07/01/19, but at the interview they told me that would be from February onwards.

Good luck on your MMI.

Hi, Can anyone help me. I am desperately trying to find a timeline for the stages of the Crossrail development and am really struggling. Someone mentioned there is a full timeline on Crossrails website but I have been navigating around this site for what feels like hours and I just can't find it.

Anyone????

Try Wikipedia. Last time I looked it had dates of when each section opened.

They've probably taken it down since the delay to opening was announced.

Hi everyone recentley found out via email on 29/10/2018 that i had been succesfull in my DMI and that i would hear mid november if i had been placed on a course or put into a pool of candidates.

I have been reading previous posts and was wondering if anyone had been offered a course in regards to the gidea park/ilford depot role and how long it took in relation to their succesful DMI email?

Kind regards Arch

Congratulations and well done mate! While I can't really answer your question, how did you find your DMI? Did you find it easier than the MMI? Naturally everybody will have a different experience, but more curious of your impressions of the company's DMI.

Here's to hoping you get placed of a course :D

Hi Arch.

I had my DMI on 03/10/18 and then got the email on 16/10/18 to say I had passed and to wait by mid November.

I am still waiting and have not heard anything yet, i have also applied for the ilford depot.

So far anyone who has commented on this forum and has got a start date have applied at other depots not for ilford and gidea park...

Hey Apex, in my opinion, the DMI was a lot more relaxed than the MMI, that's probably why you've seen people write about it being a general chit chat. Definitely more than a chit chat, your answers are marked, but there were a lot of jokes being made so be careful you don't allow yourself to get too comfortable, you're still in an interview. As long as you know you're stuff, it's quite a pleasureable experience as far as interviews go.

Thanks.

Now I want to know who will start the training with me. Hope that someone else from this forum received the email as well.

Congrats on your start date!

Nothing received for me yet! Hoping I get one early next week with the same start date as you!
