I got it (subject to medical ect) won't start till August. Which is a little strange as the day before (when I had my dmi) they said it would be June.

Yep, I heard there's 10 people per class, so if they are starting the training in October2015 and going right through to August2016, that must mean 110 people have been successful. I think I was one of the last to get in from the first recruitment drive.

For all you guys who are waiting anxiously I know someone who is going to be a senior manager for MTR and he has said there will be a course of 10 starting every month for the next 14 odd months.

Out of interest this is initially liverpool street to shenfield? Bhen does crossrail takeover reading to london services or will that not be till crossrail opens? Will tfl operate fgw stations like slough?

There will be far too many drivers for the initial service surely?

Are there still mainly ex greater anglia drivers driving those trains at the moment?

Also where were the adverts for ilford and shenfield?

Smeone mentioned reading? Or will fgw staff have priority for reading?

From what I've read on here, October for Reading - don't know how accurate this is though..

I haven't received any emails, the lady I spoke to just said they'd be in touch in the new year with a medical date

I rang them today because other people had said you should have received a confirmation email after they rang you. The person I spoke confirmed this and re sent the email.

A few hours later I got another email to say they are changing the date from August to September :cry:

My medical was supposed to be late November, however received an email stating that it would now be rescheduled around the end of January!

I never received the initial confirmation but I did also just get the email rescheduling for September, its all good although I'm eager to get started.

Just got a reply from mtr and been given a start date for November next year, a long wait but I'm sure it will fly by. Anyone else been given November??

Just a thought ,are these positions that people have gotten going to be for ilford depot

Not yet, was told it will be done closer to the start time and I do believe so, as that is what was advertised, but I am not 100% sure.

I think it's ilford, although I do remember one of the questions was, do you within 40 mins of ilford, abbey wood and one of station I can't remember. I would prefer abbey wood as I'm that side of the river.

I got a phone call today saying I passed the managers interview. I'm over the moon and can't wait to get started. Although it's a while off, November 2016. I found the managers interview easier than the MMI interview. I applied for Shenfield depot when it opens.
