MSTS CD Free

I guess this has probably been mentioned sometime in the past, but never mind. I've re-installed MSTS after a long absence, & I'm sure when I had it before, I didn't need the cd to run it everytime. Can someone enlighten me please as to how I make adjustments so I don't need the cd to run it. Many thanks.

You need to install the Microsoft Patch that was released to do this.

That should do the trick, but do it before you install the BIN patch as it will overwrite some of those files. If you have the BIN patch, uninstall it first then reinstall it.

Or if you have the Original Big Box Version as I do you never need the CD present
