Fingers crossed, I should be able to tell you on Saturday how it runs (or not).

All depends on how well Vista behaves when I install it.....

Right then. I've done a bit of experimenting with various routes on different graphics settings, and found no problems in using MSTS on a Vista Home Premium (32-bit) machine. Hope that answers your question.

I ran MSTS on Windows Vista Ultimate RC2 and it worked perfectly on the 32-bit.

Edit: Just in case anyone is wondering about BVE, I also had that running perfectly fine under Vista also.

How the f**k did you get BVE running?

Once I installed BVE with Net Framework on Vista, I did a reboot and installed the routes, Set compatibility to XP and ran it. I didn't know people were having problems with running it in Vista.

Windows Compatibility Manager, right click on the program icon, Properties and it's mingling in there somewhere...

Sorry to bring back an old thread, but im having some problems using trainstore on Vista. It does this 10 second waiting thing, and then gives me an error, for each file that it tries to move. I think it's because the Program Files are set to Read-only, but it wont let me take them off Read-Only! Anyone got any solution?
