Can't wait until I go to Silverstone for the Moto GP in two weeks.

Gloucestershire lad Scott Redding leading the Moto 2 World Championship :D

He has the making of a British Motor Sport star

Hope you have a good time sir!

I went when it was at Donnington, its quite a few years ago now, like 2006 or something. But it was great, the atmosphere was electric.

I remember Rossi has a broken wrist, started in 12th but finished in 3rd I think it was. Well the way the crowd was cheering afterwards, you would have thought he had won. It was fantastic.

Cheers

If the race is as good as it was today it will be a treat.

I saw Rossi win his first ever race at Donnington in the 500s-great circuit.

Silverstone is not a motor bike friendly spectator circuit

Best place to spectate at Silverstone (IMO) is around Becketts. You get to see them through there, and entering the new Village loop and heading down the Wellington straight. However, with the all the grandstands around there, you do get a pretty good un-obstructed view, as for the most part, even the lowest seats in them are above the top of the safety fencing, apart from Copse and the old start/finish straight.

If your going by car, take plenty of money with you!
