Motherwell tsr

For the past 18 months ( maybe longer ), there has been a 50mph tsr through Motherwell station- so two rather obvious questions

1 What is the reason for the restriction?

2 Are there any plans to fix it or will the tsr become a psr?

Just says rail defect on the notices. It’ll probably be tied in with when they do track renewals round there.
