Following on from a similar brain teaser I wanted to ask this one. I don't have the answer it's just asking out loud: looking for public service vehicles that have had a long list of owners.
Transferring within the same corporate organisation doesn't count - but acquisition by a new parent company due to takeover does.
I'd imagine if we go back to deregulation that would be the peak of trades and takeovers - I'd guess some Nationals and Routemasters will be up there with some of the long histories!
