Longcross near Ascot has a housing development being built nearby. Will this prompt a service more frequent than a handful per day?

Isn't there a station that receives a once a day London overground service due to a quirk of the franchising

Battersea Park?

Useful as a diversion when the South London Line services can't terminate at Clapham, and it keeps that part of the line open.
