Unfortunately you can't buy it from the driver, although you can buy a daily ticket for £30 or a weekly for £70.

It works out at about £8.70 a day as well, which is pretty good value, IMO.

Well, it's knowhere near as esspensive as the Stagecoach one, but still it's quite exspensive. It cost me £2.50 to travel from a small Village called Allerton Bywater into Castleford. Very exspensive for just two miles of a bus Journey, that's why is Usualy walk down the river, unless it's Flooded. But when it's flooded you can only drive to castleford, the long way!

Are you surprised that an annual ticket which covers a huge area of the country would cost so much? Or surprised that drivers don't tend to have such large floats?

The driver would only need a maximum of £33 change in his float for that fare though...

By the time any of the drivers here have gotten 50yds into their route, thanks to ridiculous fares, they have at least £50 in their top pocket...

When I was a Driver we didn't get a float and were expected to provide our own if we didn't want to start the day with an empty box. The Drivers still don't get one now. We used to have a ceiling fare of £30, no idea if it still applies now.
