Mosley Road Spur

There is not much info or photos about this particular Spur on Mosley Road, in the Trafford Park freight line in Manchester. There is plenty on Kellogs, Mellors Road and much more but this one seems to be a mystery, and it has caught my eye, as I just noticed it.

It's clearly disused; a lot of the track has been lifted near a level crossing, but it looks like it lead into some kind of gate, and most of the track still existed that ran into a factory/siding, keep in mind this is google street view from 2008.

I feel like i'm making a big thing out of nothing lol, but i'm pretty curious, does anyone have knowledge of a last trip, traction or any type of info/photo?

Edit: looks like the road covers more than I first realised. Specifically which end of Mosley Road is it? I've just had a look at OS maps which show a number of works in the area, but none are individually named apart from the metropolitan vickers one to the east.

This should be where to start off - one road down from Mellors Road.
