ventured out to Mortimer on the reading to Basingstoke line to try out a new location with 50149 from Rc

Just in case you're interested, 66577 at Basingstoke was 4O35 (09:40 Crewe-Southampton) which is unusual in that it runs via Woking. It's highly likely that the first image was 4M55 (09:28 Southampton-Crewe).
