So after my original application hanging as 'under consideration for assessment 2' for just under two months, then the application being reassigned to another 'pool' vacancy which HR could tell me nothing about, it has now been assigned to a grade 2 vacancy miles away.
I'm getting pretty fed up now, I want to work for network rail and have every confidence I will make a great signaller but the lack of communication is disheartening and contacting HR is pretty difficult too!
Both the old vacancies are showing as 'unsuccessful' despite being in the top 5 after assessment day and being told I would get an interview - is this definitely the case or is there a possibility that despite passing initial sift, SJT and assessment day in top 5 they, for some reason, didn't think I'd be worth interviewing? Of course, I would call HR but they don't seem to b e able to find out anything about any application that has gone past the initial few stages.
Considering I applied for a grade 6 vacancy originally, there isn't any way I could consider a grade 2 vacancy that is over 30 miles away.
