Got my copy today of the first super soaraway Sunday currant bun. Without needing to give Murdoch my 50p. Local shop let me have one for free, manager saying the wholesaler won't notice the -1 discrepancy on his unsold returns!

Not read it, no plans to either. Just going into the same poly pocket as the final NoTW. Something to bequeath....

You're sure they're not for Cash in the Attic? :p

Someone I know who used to work for the Sun was saying that they'd be struggling to fill the Monday edition as a lot of news from there was used for the Sunday paper.

Did anyone notice if that was the case?

Did you say news? They surely never have any trouble filling the requisite number of pages, but the amount of News it typically contains they could just put in a two-page leaflet.

So they probably struggled then. Padding usually reflects a lack of news, but not wanting to cut pages (as that means less ad slots if they want to maintain a stable editorial to advertising ratio).

Ive not read the story yet as im just not interested but I think it may be a serial story over a couple of days as by the headline this is about her returning to work and not about the near death of her new born bairn.

either way im not fussed. 3.5 million viewers on sunday mean the ad men will be jumping through hoops soon to take up ad space.
