Last Sunday the curse of FGWs class 153 overcrowding struck again,this time it was Cornwalls turn.A single 153 operated the first(0810) Penzance to Plymouth service where passenger had to transfer to coaches as Plymouth/Exeter is out for engineering works every weekend up to the 9/10 December.By the time the 153 reached Truro it was full and standing leaving 60 odd passengers stranded at St Austell,Bodmin Parkway and Liskeard for another hour to await the next Penzance(0910) to Plymouth service a HST!
Come on FGW sort it.Anyone travelling from Cornwall on Saturdays/Sundays already faces a marathan journey,ie train to Plymouth,coach Plymouth to Tiverton Parkway then Train onward from Tiverton Parkway without this farce.
