I am travelling in the evening weekday rush hour and have 2 choices:

  1. 1. DLR from bank - Canary Wharf
  2. 2. Jubilee from London bridge - Canary Wharf

I guess both lines would be equally as busy?

Yes, although if you value a seat you have a higher chance of getting one on the DLR, as Bank's the terminus.

One advantage of using the Docklands Light Railway (DLR) is that you are starting from the end of the line, so the DLR carriages won't already be full.

Due to escalator work at Bank station, it maybe easier to access the DLR via Monument station. (Bank and Monument is an inter-linked station, and access to the DLR platforms is (below the ground) in-between the two stations).

You can access any of the Central, W&C, Northern, DLR, Circle, or District lines from any of the entrances to either Bank or Monument stations. Accessing the first two from Monument or the last three from Bank is currently not recommended by TFL.

Or look at getting a boat. They stop at London Bridge City pier and and some at Tower pier. Not a bad journey either!

I personally would pick the DLR, as it tends to be ever so slightly quieter, chances of a seat are higher from the Bank terminus.
