Greetings. Next week I will be taking either the District or Circle Line to Monument Station and I want to use the exit from the station closest to the Walkie Talkie Building. What exit signs should I be looking for? Thank you.

Go up the stairs midway along the platform, continue through the ticket barriers then turn left and up the stairs to the street. I don't know how it's signed but it's quite straightforward .

Use the Fish Street exit, turn left onto Eastcheap.

Thank you. There will be 4 of us, and we're all north of 60, some at quite high latitudes. I just like to be prepared so that I don't cause too much unnecessary walking.

I am a long time lurker but registered to respond to this as I work near Monument. Take the stairs upstairs and take the Fish Street Hill exit towards the left. Once you come outside, turn left and within 30-40 steps, you will come to Eastcheap (you should see a fancy coffee shop across the road with a Greggs a couple of shops away from it on the right). Cross the road, turn right on Eastcheap and walk past the Greggs. Take the first left Philpot Lane (there is a Pret at the corner) and you will almost immediately see the Walkie Talkie building on the right after about 50 yards. The queue for the Sky Garden, if you want to go there, starts on this side.

If you are coming from the Victoria side towards Monument, then the first door of the 5th carriage from the front (or third from the back) opens right near the stairs.
