I've got a day to spare in York and wondered if anyone knew of any interesting rail movements (maybe 800s) in the York/Doncaster area between 10am and 4pm on this date? Any ideas for doing something different welcome!

York wise on Monday for 800s, highly unlikely, 800s have been operating overnight testing between Doncaster and Darlington, however check on Realtraintimes as maybe some appear in schedule on day.
Best bet would be Doncaster. Any momovement off depot, i believe, has to come into station, so any tests or positioning moves going south would be seen.
Also you can walk down to depot and see a couple as you walk down the road to the depot entrance.
