Modern Signalling Handbook by Stanley Hall

I was speaking with a colleague at work about our copies of the Modern Signalling Handbook by Stanley Hall. I had the 4th edition, published by Ian Allan Publishing, and he had the 5th edition.

We were wondering if a 6th edition would ever come out. However, given the demise of Ian Allan publishing, I'm guessing this is unlikely.

Does anyone in the hivemind of RailForums know any better?

Stanley Hall passed away in 2018. Obviously plenty of classic railway books have been updated and extended by ‘new’ complementary authors but with the publisher gone too it will be hard to build up any momentum especially with ‘digital’ signalling emerging so fast at present.

The fifth edition of the "abc - Modern Signalling Handbook" (published November 2016) seems to be by Chris Hall. Possibly now out-of-print. Can't see anything more recent than that.
